Who are we and what do we do? Bivouac was founded by Kate Pettitt MCSD in 2002 in York, and is a collaborative design company that works closely with a network of talented and creative individuals to produce high quality, imaginative design solutions for its clients. Kate is a member of the Chartered Society of Designers, a professional body that upholds standards of design and design practice.

Every brief we receive is approached with care, imagination, consideration and individuality. With creative designers on site and a pool of selected talent to draw on, Bivouac provides you with the best possible artistic and technical solutions. We aim to make the design process as enjoyable as possible for all concerned and offer a friendly, personal and professional service.

We are members of the Museums Association and Engage.

We also work seamlessly with a number of highly experienced professionals to supply you with additional services should your job require it. With our extended team we can also handle marketing, e-marketing, photography, exhibition, spacial design and shop interiors, copywriting and proof-reading, printing, game development for public spaces and museums, website and database development, sculpture and 3D modelling, brand and patent registration to offer you a complete, bespoke service.
