As Architects and Master Planners mbo architects are all about Individuals, Couples, Families, Communities and Placemaking. We maintain a focus on renewal as much as new build. This basically means anything from a domestic extension to urban planning as we believe all development contributes to the evolution of a street, community, town or city.
Working within a local and national context is still an important aspect of the practice, despite also working internationally. It is the proven way we work with our clients both home and abroad, that has cemented successful and rewarding ongoing working relationships between mbo architects and our clients.
Globally mbo are making a mark too in the area of place-making and community planning. With our group of talented architects and master-planners we share our comprehensive experience in delivering successful schemes for both private and public sector clients throughout the UK, Europe, as well as China.

Architecture requires a highly specialised set of skills At mbo architects we exercise these skills with care and diligence.
The RIBA has developed a structure for architectural services, breaking them down into a series of 'work-stages' from Inception at Stage 1, through to Construction, Post-Completion, and Feedback - Evaluation at Stage 6.
Our most frequent service is a 'full architectural service' from Stages 1 to 6, but we are always happy to provide a partial service such as just to Planning, or Building Regulation Drawings, to meet each client's needs.

A masterplan is not merely a distribution of land uses, it's the starting point for creating a living often communal place.
At mbo architects we use masterplanning not only as a way of planning an ideal layout in terms of movement, use of space and functional organisation. But also as a means to harbour the best possible circumstances for daily life. A good masterplan promotes the sharing of social infrastructure, public transport, maximises economic investment, and yet minimises environmental impact.
